Eva Kruse is on this year’s BoF 500

October 6, 2016

The Business of Fashion has included Eva Kruse on its index of the 500 most influential people in the global fashion industry.

Every year The Business of Fashion publishes BoF 500, an index of the world's 500 most influential people in fashion. The 2016 list includes some of the industry’s absolute heavyweights such as Bernard Arnault, Hedi Slimane, Anna Wintour and Stella McCartney.

Eva Kruse is the only Dane on the list this year, which can be accredited to her work as the driving force behind pushing a global sustainability agenda that has placed Denmark and Copenhagen on the fashion world map. Copenhagen Fashion Summit has within a few years grown to become a global event in the fashion industry that cannot be avoided, which this BoF 500 inclusion emphasises.

Eva Kruse is proud to have succeeded with driving sustainability to the very top of the industry; "I am honoured to be included in the BoF 500 index along with some of the most respected people in the industry. The fact that our work is recognized as being formative for the global fashion industry by an international benchmark media as Business of Fashion is a huge pat on the back. It inspires me and our team to work even harder to make the global fashion industry more sustainable," says Eva Kruse.

Other names you will find on this year’s BoF 500 include Pascal Morand, President of Fédération Francaise De La Couture, Hannah Jones, VP of Sustainable Business & Innovation Nike, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Designer Goscha Rubchinskiy and Guram Gvasalia, CEO Vetements.
